We have been on several Celebrity ships including the Infinity. So the age of the Summit was not a factor. But we were disappointed with the maintenance of this ship. There were several public areas of this ship that smelled like there had been a water leak. A mildew smell permeated the Revelation lounge and other areas of the ship. Also the PA system had terrible feedback to the point it would have been difficult to hear an emergency announcements. The seats in theater needed work and the AC in our stateroom did not cool the room.
