We picked this cruise because we wanted to visit St. Kitts, as well as return to our favorite island, Barbados. We had three sea days, and then stopped at Antigua, St. Lucia, Barbados, St. Kitts, St. Thomas, and Princess Cays. The weather was wonderful, the food was good. We enjoy eating in the dining room, and the presentations of the dinner meals were amazing.
I needed to pick me up hair style and went down to the spa and was given a beautiful style by Jessica. That made my birthday very special.
I enjoyed meeting Captain Draper. He spoke each day to the passengers, and was calm and friendly. This was especially important when the ships power went out. He came right on the intercom and announced that everything was being taken care of and that he would report back momentarily. And he did. It was a minor glitch in the system, and in less than 5 minutes we were back to cruising full speed ahead.
Cabin Review
Mini-Suite with Balcony
I was surprised that our mini-suite really was mini. The cabin in narrower, than the one we had on Ruby, but she still was nicely appointed. I must point out that the new flat screen TVs and optional movie, TV, ships channels, live news, and new movies, made the entertainment in our cabin really nice. At the end of a long day, we would climb into bed, and watch a little TV. Our mini-suite also had a full bath tub and shower, and I decided to take a bath twice! What a pleasure that was. The balcony was narrow, but we did sit outside and read during one of the sea days.I would recommend this mini-suite and book it again.
