Embarkation was very slow due computer problems. Pictures could not be taken at the check-in desk. They were taken on the ship as we entered making the line slow. The desk staff did the best that they could.

The ship was redone early this year and we thought they did a good job of it. Many people who book a small ship, as the Vision is, don't realize that it doesn't have all the bells and whistles of a Freedom or Oasis class ship. We enjoyed the steam and sauna rooms....which most people didn't even know they existed. We had late seating in the dinning room. We know that if you go to the pools or whirlpools at that time, there are few people there....no crowds! Main dining room food was very good although the selection seemed a bit too narrow. Great waiter!

They did make a mistake in that I ordered a birthday cake for my wife on the last day of the cruise. They brought out a cupcake with a single candle on and sang happy birthday to her on the first night. That sort blew the whole surprise....and $16.95 for a cupcake seemed a bit much. I contacted the service desk the next day and they showed on the screen that the ordered was for a cake on the last day of the cruise. They gave us credit back for the cake and on the last day of the cruise brought two fairly expensive wine bottles to our table to apologize. The wife was very happy....she likes wine better than cake!

Cabin Review

Large Ocean View Stateroom

Cabin F

We were in a Panoramic View Outside stateroom. It was larger than a standard ocean view with more storage and a full size couch. The view was great. Since the cruise was a bit rough, we spent a bit more time in the cabin than usual...napping and reading. We were very glad we booked this stateroom!
