This was my third cruise. The first two were on ships of about 2,300 passengers; this was much larger at around 4,300. In general, this ship seemed less crowded, because the increased number of venues. The promenade was awesome. But, when events were scheduld on the promenade, everythying else was put on hold to seemingly force us into the promenade. This is the first ship that completely closes the buffet lines: between breakfast and lunch and between lunch and dinner, and it completely closed at 9pm - that was a first! It seemed like those were the times I wanted to eat, so I was limited to the pizzarea if I wanted to eat for free: it is frozen pizza heated up.

There was almost nobody viewing the movies on the outdoor screen, and they removed the movie theater inside the ship. I enjoyed the movie theater on the other 2 ships. Shows were great, but tickets for the ice shows were impossible to get, and they did not have enough ice shows for everybody that wanted to view one. And, everything shut down during those shows too. On and off boarding were quick and easy; state room and it's cleaning were magnificient; excursions were great; highlight was the Labadee private island. If you fly in on the same day, it is well worth buying the transfers: saves time, money, and they handle your luggage. It seems this cruise line has a very strong and rewarding loyalty program; join it. Overall value and experience were well worth it. If available when and where I want to go, I will use Royal Caribbean.

Cabin Review

Oceanview Stateroom

Cabin G

Stateroom was awesome. Cabin attendant could not possibly have been better. I rearranged my daily fees to give the attendant a very good tip, since I did not use the dining rooms. Everything was clean, worked well, and was in order all the time due to the attention of the attendant. And, he kept my ice bucket full ALL THE TIME! It is worth paying extra for the ocean view; better than my brother's interior cabin by a long shot.
