We could not have been happier with our Mediterranean Cruise on the Jade. The boat may not be the newest and the decor from Hawaii is a little funky while cruising the Mediterranean but the service was exceptional and Norwegian really has this freestyle cruising thing down! Options galore is what you will find on the Jade. Dining and entertainment were wonderful. We did not do the upgraded dining package however we did eat at several of the specialty restaurants and they were fantastic but the main dining room was also very good and the menu did change throughout the cruise so the food was never boring.

We were in the Haven 3 bedroom garden villa so we enjoyed being in our room way more than your typical cruise cabin. The staff taking care of our room went above and beyond in everyday. The room steward and butler anticipated every need and were happy and friendly at all times. They entertained our kids with cute towel animals every night and by bringing them special treats when turning down the beds.

The show every evening was great, very entertaining and a good variety of shows. Sea days are long and we weren't much for all the onboard activities but there were plenty of options just not really our scene. We did go to the movie theater and see the feature on one of the days. The only critique I have of that is it would have been better in high definition with a better picture quality but that wasn't too bad considering. Read more
