This was our first trip to China. Not only were our land travels fantastic, but our experience on this cruise was fabulous! Because the ship was smaller than the much larger ocean liners we have been on, it was a much more intimate experience. The food and dining were excellent and the service was outstanding. The staff was very friendly and personable. We felt the one seating for all of the passengers allowed us to get to know others who were not in our own group. The on-board entertainment was quite good and those staff members who participated did very well. Most of the views along the river were incredible & the shore excursions we took were wonderful. As retired educators, my husband and I really enjoyed the trip to the school and the experiences with the children.

Overall, with our excellent guide, Iowa, (as he likes to be called) and the other guides along the way on the land portion, we feel this was one of the best trips we have taken. We haven't stopped talking about it since we have returned and recommended it to almost everyone we have told about it. We now want to take other river cruises as a result.
