My husband and I sailed this cruise in celebration of our 20th wedding anniversary so we splurged on some upgrades.

Dining in Blu was a wonderful experience which really made all the difference in our cruise experience. All of the staff at Blu were wonderful making us feel welcome. They always addressed us by name, remembered our seating preferences, our drink preferences and *always* said "you're welcome" rather than "no problem". The sommelier in Blu, Onur, *made* our cruise. He was everything I could hope for in a server; polite, kind, knowledgeable, wise, attentive... I could go on and on. He truly made our vacation the best.

The food was above average- probably excellent for ship food but, I have had (and prepared) better meals for sure. Buffet food was surprisingly good. Q'sine was a fun experience with above average food and fun presentation. Probably not worth the $45 per person, but we had friends and ship credit to use.

Cabin Review

Aqua Class

Cabin A2

We booked Aqua class veranda room 9076, starboard side, which was more spacious than I expected. Mirrors through out the ship but especially in state rooms were well placed making everything seem more spacious. Everything was in good repair though there was a bad smell in the bathroom that I found unpleasant (husband did not seem to mind it). There was ample storage space for all of our belongings (4 suitcases plus small bags). From our room we were able to see the islands every morning when we woke with the sunrise which we could not have enjoyed from the port side of the ship. Our room steward maintained our room to our satisfaction. I liked the toiletries provided and chose to use them over the supplies that I brought. The robes and slippers were a nice touch that I used daily after returning from our ports as I went up to the Persian Gardens and then the pool showers on deck 10. I enjoyed having the extra large shower, extra towels, sauna and hairdryer. There was never anyone else there at the time I would go shower- around 5pm when everyone else was waiting around for sail away.
