Have taken a total of 15 cruises on various lines, and Princess is by far the most outstanding. This cruise through the Panama Canal is a "must do" for anyone who enjoys cruising. The Island Princess may be a little out-of-date, but it's going in for renovations shortly. What made the trip totally awesome was the crew:) Every crew member we had interaction with was pleasant and helpful no matter where we were on the ship. I appreciated that if we were looking around trying to figure how to get somewhere if a crew member passed us they would stop and help. The food and the wait staff were wonderful. What puts Princess over the top for us is that they value those who serve in our military. It means a lot to get the on board credit for having served in the military. We basically have decided to only go Princess if we're looking at a trip where they sail. Used to compare several lines, but now we're committed to Princess!
