The Sky is a nice ship and the crew is pleasant. The food was good and ship and rooms were in good shape. It's a great value and freestyle cruising is what got me to go with them. Now the problem. I booked a balcony room after seeing they don't allow smoking on balconies since Nov 2014. My wife has asthma and I was happy to splurge for the balcony since the new policy was in affect. Thing is not even the crew and I mean senior crew is aware of the policy. The people in the room next to mine smoked all the time on the balcony and we of course could not use ours thanks to this. I'm a cigar smoker and was happy to walk to the approved smoking areas to smoke but other passengers not so much and when I spoke to a senior cruise member he was not even aware which is bizarre. I've seen other cruise lines post signs on the balconies as well as make announcements over the intercom but NCL does neither so you can't really blame the guests for trying to get away with it. Shame as this was going to be my new favorites line to sail.
