I have been waiting for this cruise since Quantum went on sale to C&A members. We had a great time and it's an amazing ship! They are still working out some kinks but for us there was nothing too disappointing. There was a lot of whining on board. I think too many people had unrealistic expectations. We arrived early and had no problem boarding. Disembarkation was just as simple. We walked off early and had no delays. Our cabin was fine. While I'm not a fan of DD it was as advertised. I would love to see a MDR option. The entertainment was little disappointing. The house band was really good but they played every night. There was a Beatle tribute band the first few night and that was it for the tributes. The Royal Theater acts were great. Mamma Mia was better than Broadway! STarwater was ok but some songs dragged.
The service was great. The people who work in Guest Services had to contend with hordes of people whining and complaining about stupid stuff. Not that some people did not have legit complaints they were few and far between. I must also say that the staff was constantly dealing with rude, obnoxious, condecending and ignorant passengers. I felt for them. But they always truned the other cheek and put a smiling face. One last comment. I expected the ship to be a bit more stable. She had more movement in rough seas than I expected. I would cruise on Quantum again in a heart beat!
