Having returned from our 12 day cruise aboard Arcadia, we wish to express our great disappointment.

As this was our first cruise the ship was not as we'd expected, having read information of the (refit carried out in 2013!).. If we'd given our cabin, & corridors a star rating it would have been 2! As the carpets, walls in corridors were badly stained! Our cabin was very depressing, extremely creased net curtain, pillows had a stale smell, & I had to clean hairs out of bathroom cabinet, before I could put my toiletries in!..

On boarding the ship, we went for a look around, until our cabin was ready, we liked the look of the hydro pool, and heated beds, so payed £200 to use for the 12 days, & oh how pleased we did, as once we set sail for the 3 day trip to Madeira, we realised just how little there was to do on board.....
