INTRODUCTION - Having had an awful cruise earlier this year with another cruise line it was lovely to be back with Cunard on board this regal ship.

EMBARKATION - We had to fly to Rome to board the ship, which was fine, but we went with Air France and flew to Paris and a 4 hour wait until our connecting flight. We got up at 3.00am and did not board the ship until 6.30pm so we were very tired. The checking in process was quick and easy though.

FIRST IMPRESSION - Absolutely stunning ship, very welcoming, grand and beautiful décor with an art deco theme.

Cabin Review

Oceanview (obstructed view)

Cabin FA

Our cabin was situated on the portside mid-ship but nearer the forward end. We had an obstructed view but this did not bother us as it was nice to have natural daylight and when we were in the cabin it was usually dark anyway. We were near to the stairs and lifts. The space was big enough for our needs.
