We chose a back to back Christmas cruise including the New Year celebrations which was very reasonable in price. We chose an inside cabin, which was a little small but adequate. We found the ship very cheerful and staff very pleasant and felt very much at home for the three weeks. The destinations on shore were very interesting, and both Christmas Day and New Years Eve were spent at sea and NCL went to great trouble to entertain us. The shows in the Theatre were outstanding, despite the fact that this was a back to back cruise, there was minimal repetition of the shows. The show "Elements" was world class and a credit to NCL:.

The food in the MDR was excellent and the staff were most obliging, efficient and faultless. In the evening time we like to dance - and we were very well catered for by the 'Guys and Doll' group. This was a north American band and they made sure that everyone's dancing tastes were catered for each evening. This included - waltz, foxtrot, quickstep, tango, merengue, mambo, rumba, cha cha, line dancing etc. Having cruised fifteen times before with different cruise lines, this was our first encounter with such a dedicated dance band - which made our cruise so very enjoyable! It was a pleasure to be on the Norwegian Jade as so many cruise lines are cutting down on the dance area and the bands are not as accommodating as we found on the Jade. Kevin and Mary
