We left on our cruise on January 4th. My wife had read that the new system for boarding was working well. We got an email saying we were to arrive at 1pm for our boarding. We got there and there was a huge lineup. The people in front of us were supposed to arrive at 2pm but they decided to come at 1 instead. We waited 1hr 20 minutes to get to the counter. Ironically, a couple behind arrived at 2:15 and were up at the counter in 5 minutes.

We've boarded at Ft. Lauderdale and Barcelona and never had these waits.

The trip itself went very well. The crew were great and we didn't have kids trying to take over the adult pool as happened on our last cruise. The weather wasn't the best but the captain and crew can't do anything about that. Read more
