We arrived at Port Everglades after 11:30 AM and were in a long line...but it moved along and we were on the ship in about an hour....the cabins were ready and we were off to the buffet. The ship is well maintained and we found the crew to be pleasant and more then efficient. We had anytime dining and choose to show up at 6:30 PM every evening and asked for the same waiter, Jephson. We were a party of three and got the same booth every night. The service was excellent. Our waiter was prompt and did an outstanding job...and our food was always good to exceptional.... we were always done in a little over an hour. We enjoyed all the entertainment in the theater...especially loved the comic juggler...sounds lame but he was very funny and clever...the show "Brits" was the weakest production. Went several times to see the comedians and found them to be very good. We tried all the food venues accept the specialty dining. We enjoyed having so many options and made it our business to hit them all. No complaints on any of the food... if you can't find something to eat on this cruise you just don't like eating. Our cabin was 6417 which was a guaranteed balcony...very nice location...fairly close to elevators and stairs...our steward Jay was wonderful...he knew everyone's name after the first day...and did a great job. The casino was fun...and a BIG money maker for the cruise line. It was always jumping. This was an 8 day cruise and everyone we talked to was very happy with the prices they paid. In Antigua we picked up a tour to Valley Church Beach...$8 pp each way...the driver was very knowledgeable and we didn't have to pay until he returned at our agreed upon time. We loved the beach there...no entrance charge...beautiful water and just enough wave action to make it fun. No pushy vendors...very low key. The drop off is fairly close to shore and may not be the best choice for small children. In St. Thomas we caught a tour to Megan's Bay $8pp each way plus $4pp at the beach entrance. Megan's Bay is pretty and the water is beautiful ... they do have lifeguards which I think is better if you have children with you. We actually preferred our beach in Antigua and found Megan's a little to serene for us...but that's just personal preference. In Nassau we walked to Junkanoo Beach...it's about a mile from the port and easily walkable...food and soda are available at reasonable prices and the water was nice....not a pristine beachbut we enjoyed it. All and all we had fun and left all the snow and cold behind us to enjoy beautiful weather and a great cruise experience.
