I booked this cruise for its itinerary and price ( did a cruise and stay). I can honestly say the only down side was leaving the ship to go to the hotel. My husband has vowed to only go on cruise holidays from now on, reason being how you are treated. The staff made us feel special, nothing was too much. Second visit to the lovely Orion restaurant and the waiter had remembered my drink from my first visit. Our cabin steward Ni Liu was absolutely amazing, polite, friendly and could not do enough for us. We stayed in an outside pulse on deck 9, being smokers it seemed fitting and was a good call. We did visit the Lido restaurant and my husband likened it to Woolies so we dined in the Orion every night and in Sirens during the day for th rest of our voyage.
We thoroughly enjoyed the excursions we went on. Rome in one day has a lot of walking, I wish fellow travellers did their homework before booking instead of complaining. Florence is beautiful and Pisa is amazing. We got off at every port and loved every minute of it.
Now when I booked I took note of the ship being rather casual, I was not expecting a stuffy atmosphere and tuxedo dining every night, if that's what you want or expect choose another cruise provider and stop comparing this ship to them, you will be dissapointed. In saying this I did dress up every night as you can and felt very comfortable in doing so, it's a choice I welcomed.
Perfect for what we needed, good size with plenty of space. Bathroom has a shower and a bath and there is plenty of wardrobe space. The one way Windows take some getting use to but after several trips on deck to check no one could see in every was fine. Once again No Liu was an amazing cabin stew
