This was our second time sailing with Carnival and our last. This ship really needs an overhaul and it was supposedly in dry dock prior to our departure?! I have bed bug bites and I noticed another reviewer mentioned the same thing. The deck chairs are faded and in need of being replaced. The food was meh, even in the dining room. Who puts fish swimming in sauce on a buffet line?! That is just gross! The more desirable foods are in the back of the buffet line and you have to let someone serve you because you cannot reach. Which holds up an already long line.
We were automatically charged for tipping the steward and servers in the dining room. $60 per passenger. You are also automatically charged a gratuity when ordering drinks. The muster drill was purely painful and the worst I have ever stood through on any cruise ship. There was rust in our lovely pink bathroom, we had a drawer in the state room that would not close, weird hangers for clothing and not enough, and an 18" tube tv. Cheap cheap cheap.
The entertainment was ok, nothing great. No bands or entertainers on the main pool deck to get people in the swing of things. No island music. Just bland and boring.
