It sounds like a superhero and his trusty sidekick - okay, I am not sure if you can really refer to the Connie as a "sidekick" But everything about this holiday was pretty super.

This was our second Celebrity cruise, after visiting the Western Med on the Equinox two years ago. What really attracted us to this trip was the itinerary - apart from Dubrovnik and Venice, the jam-packed schedule meant that we visited lots of brand new ports. We were a little bit skeptical about travelling on an older ship, having been spoiled by the new Millennium class boat on the last cruise, but we really had nothing to worry about; the Constellation was a bit smaller (don't get me wrong, it's still huge) and things were laid out a little differently, but certainly not to any detriment that I noticed.

As you would expect from this cruise line, incredible service could be found everywhere, from the smiling stateroom attendants (Suzanne on the 9th floor), to the friendly restaurant staff with their daily recommendations (Marlon, Arlando and of course Ferrari), all led by the Super Captain / Greek God (Captain Tasos), who was a celebrity in his own right. Captain Tasos was very visible around the ship, participating and attending in many of the daily activities, and he had such a wicked sense of humour. I still miss his morning announcements and banter with Alejandro. Oh, and did I mention he's gorgeous too?! The poor man couldn't escape a trip to the cafe without being stopped for countless photos with the guests (but he was very obliging and approachable).
