This was our first river cruise. It was a fantastic experience once we arrived at the ship (see AMA airline problems below).
The ship is beautiful and well maintained. The crew was very friendly and provided great service. The dining was usually very good except for first and least day when food/snacks were provided in the lounge--just okay. The local wine and beer selections with meals were very good.
We cannot say enough good things about the cruise director Matyas from Hungary.
Cabin Review
Stateroom with French balcony and outside balcony
Our cabin was on the top deck with dual balconies. However a French balcony is sufficient since we seldom had time to sit outside. The view one deck up was more panoramic.
The cabin was small but well organized. Our cabin steward provided excellent service, was very friendly and we tipped her accordingly.
