First river cruise after many ocean cruises. We chose the longer itinerary because we felt like seven nights would not be long enough. The ship was immaculate. The service excellent. With 150 passengers, the crew knew your likes by the second day. I always had a Diet Coke ready at meal time. Food was very good. You normally only have two or three entree selections. However, there was always a separate list of items always available. If you didn't prefer the pork entree, you could order a steak or chicken meal. Overall the food was very good. There was a light lunch served in the lounge which was just right.

The ports we stopped at were interesting. However, be prepared to see small villages with a church and a town square. The included walking tours were nice. The bike tours excellent. We did three special edition tours and they were excellent. Everything was included
