The main reason I cruise with this line are the lectures that are given. We had two excellent lecturers. There is no gambling or Broadway shows on this ship. There are around 340 passengers. Two restaurants: one buffet and one sit-down. A nice selection in both restaurants. Pleasant food. Good choice of wine.

The cost includes flights, transport from airport to ship, and the lectures.

The cabins are small but comfortable.

Cabin Review

2 Bed Outside

Cabin 05

My only complaint was the mattress...way too soft. They put a board under it, but still I was not comfortable. Otherwise, plenty of storage room and wardrobes. Lots of hangers. I had a window rather than a port hole. Lots of shampoo et al and lots of towels. The room was kept spotless. Turndown service every night.

Port Reviews

Dubrovnik

We had a terrible guide who just left us to wander around so actually cannot remember much. If you are up to it, do the "walking the Walls" tour, which I had already done.

Rome (Civitavecchia)

The museum is a must see. I did not go to Rome as it is a hour and a half from Civitavecchia and I dislike sitting on busses!
