We were on an Avalon Cruise on the Rhine and Moselle from Amsterdam to Luxembourg in 2014. We then took a train to Paris as part of the package. We loved the boat and crew. The boats are the best available, and the food and service were excellent. This year, we decided to take another cruise on the Danube from Budapest to Prague, and again had a wonderful experience. The included tours were enjoyable, and allowed us plenty of time to explore on our own. We never felt rushed. The available optional excursions gave us plenty of options to make the cruise even better. The hotels were both nice, and in great locations. They were both within walking distance to most of the best areas of interest. The boats have plenty of room to roam around, and the coffee room in the rear of the boat was always available to have a quiet place to relax for awhile.
