Avalon Tapestry II Review

The evening tour of Paris starting at 9:30 PM was great! It shouldn't be missed.

The venue/places to see was what attracted us -- we wanted to see both the northern and southern route. Our cruise director (Jon Luc) was absolutely superb and he not only took good care us, in a very detailed fashion, but also provided some entertaining insights throughout the entire cruise. We had him on both legs. He was always on top of everything and his information was always correct.

The transportation was excellent with good drivers and good guides. Most of the guides spoke decent English so we were able to follow most of what was presented for our enjoyment. All of the guides were well prepared and displayed a very good command of the venue.

We had been wishing to go to the beaches at Normandy for many years and we were not disappointed. The train trip between the northern and southern route was very interesting.

Port Reviews

Paris

We arrived in Paris three days prior to our cruise so we had seen almost all of what was available to us from Avalon
