Part of our deal was a two night stay in Barcelona which was a great start, embarkation was good and quite rapid.Balcony cabin was as expected with kingsize bed, large TV with plenty of films etc.The bathroom including tub was OK,goid hair products and dressing gowns.Good storage for all our clothes.
Dining in the Lido restaurant was good and the only drawback for us was you are unable to serve yourself at either breakfast or lunch but soft drinks and tea, cofee were readily available all day.
Evening meals on Freedom Dining option were nice with good choices mainly on North American tastes. All staff all over the ship were professional, well trained and happy in their work.
Usual layout with big bed, sofa area,TV with lots of options Fridge stocked with overpriced drinks ,even water is charged.Use drink machines in the Lido.Bathroom with tub fine.Good hanging space and storage.Balcony with metal front and seating OK.
Had two days prior to our cruise ,used metro system to get about which is less than 10 Euros for up to ten journeys
Old port of call frequently used on many cruises, good for shopping but forget bottled alcohol on HAL as they strictly enforce cruise policy.
OK place weather was great so enjoyed walk off ship
Small city but really interesting.
Know Majorca well and did our own thing by taking antique train from Palma to Soller and with great weather had the best day in a long time and enjoyed a Tapas meal in the port area overlooking the sea . Glorious.
Average town but enjoyed great weather for our walk again.
Expensive rich man's getto with yachts and tower blocks of apartments, all shut due to bank holiday ,would have liked to use public transport to see either Nice or Villefrance etc Went back to ship early and relaxed.
Used train to visit both Pisa and Florence Cheap, clean and quick Cost each couple 60euros Inc lunchtime sandwich .On board it was about 200 dollars per person.Ridiculous.
