Xmas/New Year Getaway:
Was Wonderful. This is our 16th cruise & my spouse claims it as the BEST. We were familiar with NYC because we live in Montreal & had been there many times so we simply flew down, stayed in a nice inexpensive Ramada eastside hotel that included breakfast.
Our cabin was nicely presented, the sheltered balcony was way better than expected and, while I do want to travel again on this ship, I do not feel I need upgrade next time (& there will be one) from the "sheltered". The customers were a mix of nice and very nice. Our late dining table was assigned & the upper outboard reaches of deck 3 & couldn't have been better.
