The Galapagos have been on our bucket list for years and it certainly lived up to our expectations. Lindblad handled everything from being met in Miami to being ushered back to the return flight. There was never a glitch in any aspect of the trip which made the travel part seamless, the activities fun and informative and the shipboard service amazing.

There were constant activity options for any level of excursion to view animals, snorkel, hike and kayak. The guests got along and truly enjoyed each others' company, with everyone (including kids) being respectful, on-time and friendly. The ship layout is very functional and very comfortable and it seems like the rooms are cleaned every time you venture out of your room for more than 10 minutes. Dining was exceptional with plenty of high quality offerings and detailed care was given to anyone with a special need or request. (my wife mentioned she likes onions and she was given a separate plate of onions at every mean thereafter). The staff truly cared about all of their guests. We had a personal crisis at home while we were away and everyone was so helpful and genuinely concerned. They even helped us make a satellite phone call from the bridge to check on the situation. I can't imagine more competent, complete and genuine service anywhere.

If you're looking for on board entertainers and B rated shows this is not the trip for you. Those are thankfully not even offered as the entire trip is focused on nature and enjoying God's creation. It's not a party boat and no one on the trip wanted that or missed it. We were all too busy outside and actively engaged on excursions interfacing with the amazing unique creatures of the Galapagos with trained, informative and friendly naturalists. This is a trip not to be missed!

Cabin Review

Cabin normal

The cabin was larger than expected with a comfortable bathroom. Hot water was abundant. The beds were comfortable and there were large windows looking out on the ocean from every room. There were thoughtful lighting options and plenty of space to store clothes and gear.

The only negative is that sometimes it was difficult to hear the public announcements.
