Rarely does an experience meet and exceed every expectation one has going in. That was our experience with the Island WindJammers Vela.
Our initial motivation for seeking out Island Windjammers was my wife's long held love of tall ships. Being able to experience of sailing on a tall ship for an extended period was a dream come true for her. That said, many of the other facets of the experience they offer fit us comfortably - The small group setting, the relaxed itinerary, the general informal nature of the experience... all called us.
The experience was, to be quite honest, the best vacation we have ever taken.
Cabin Review
Is the cabin small? yup. But, it's more than adequate for sleeping in, and the rest of the time you'll want to be on deck enjoying the view, (and perhaps a wine or beer :) ) or snorkelling, or ....
The beds were comfortable
The shower had hot water
everything was clean..
