This is a great ship for a first time cruiser - or family with younger kids they would like to take on a great vacation. For an experienced cruiser such as myself - the ship was over crowded (4800 guests on board!) - food was average at best - and the bar staff seemed fairly disinterested in waiting on people. The wait staff at the restaurants, and our room steward were excellent. If you have cruised before, there are much prettier and more comfortable ships out there, with much better food. The "complimentary" restaurants "down graded" menu is the exact same at all, and only 3 restaurants was very disappointing. Better food apparently is available - if you are willing to pay for the up charge, which in principle alone we were not willing to do. Even the Ultimate Beverage Package" was disappointing for the price, as top shelf (or even medium) liquors were not included without additional expense.

My advice if you want the best of food and drink and service - would be to look elsewhere. This was a "nickel and dime" you to death experience, with even pathetically slow and expensive internet access.

All that being said - we had a great time - and love cruising - just will not return for another "mega ship" experience.

Balcony Stateroom

Cabin BC

Great cabin, tiny balcony, best bathroom and shower of any of the 6 ships i have cruised.

Port Reviews

Cozumel

Just walked around Cozumel - very high pressure sales people at every shop and "kiosk"
