We wanted to return to the Southern Caribbean and this ship had the itinerary we were looking for. We have cruised at least a dozen times on various cruise lines and I'm sad to report that this was the worst experience we've had in over 8 years of cruises.

We spent a day in San Juan prior to the cruise which was a lovely experience. Embarkation was smooth and quick. The ship is in good condition and offered a wide variety of features that interested us like the ice rink and flow rider. We didn't have any children with us but being big kids ourselves, we wanted to have fun with these things.

The food, both in the dining room and the buffet was horrible. It was like eating school cafeteria food. The food was either over cooked or undercooked. My husband's cod fish was served raw in the middle! My medium/rare steak was burned etc. The quality of meat was poor. The lobster was rubbery and truly the worst quality that one can get. The only vegetables served were carrots and broccoli which were mushy. Mashed potatoes with just about everything. Serious lack of spices, flavor and variety. Even the eggs at breakfast were bad.
