We went on this cruise with another lovely couple who had purchased this cabin for a relative who couldn't end up using so we were lucky enough to have!!! And it coincided with my husbands 60th birthday so even better!
As my first cruise I felt a bit spoiled - we had a lovely balcony room at the Aqua class level. The room was very nice, loved the bed - slept like a baby every night - and found accommodations very much above what I envisioned! Room attendant was good - but nothing to rave about. Agree with some other comments about the afternoon crudites - don't bother - although a nice touch the chips were stale every day and i think they should explore other options. Additionally the tea left in the room daily wasn't that good either. Would prefer to see coffee brought each morning or left in the room.
So - there were definitely pro's and cons to this trip and I will start with the pro's:

Miami
Miami is the place - you love to visit but home is better! It is beautiful and lots of see but its very expensive and a few days were enough for me. We ate at some nice places but the prices were EXTREMELY high for what it was. Stayed at the Lexington - stay away - unless you are ok with a run down very aged hotel and the lobby is all updated so it is very deceiving! There were odors everywhere - things falling apart in the rooms and just pretty gross. I will be updating trip advisor accordingly but i now realize why they were do reasonably priced during a busy time! It does appear as though they are working on some renovations but they should really just shut down and finish it! Also - no one speaks english fluently and the bar staff by the pool were not friendly, helpful or outgoing. There is no charging anything to your room so you need cash at all times. very disappointing

Did lots of shopping and ate a great lunch at Wet Wendy's - highly recommend - great food and drinks and very affordable!!!
