Our embarkation in Miami was very easy and well organized. Check-in was quite smooth with minimal fuss. Once on board, we were able to visit the buffet for a light lunch while we waited for the call that staterooms were ready, which happened far sooner than expected.

After a brief rest, we found that our luggage had been delivered, so were able to unpack and get organized for our 17 day cruise to Seattle.

Our stateroom was excellent. The room was spotless. We understand the ship will undergo a refit this fall, but the only "wear" in our room was a small crack in the sink. The carpet was clean and showed no excessive wear (the same in the passageways). There were no odors.

Our stateroom was excellent. The room was spotless. We understand the ship will undergo a refit this fall, but the only "wear" in our room was a small crack in the sink. The carpet was clean and showed no excessive wear (the same in the passageways). There were no odors.

Closet and storage space was more than sufficient for us. There we plenty of hangers in the closet. There was a small programmable safe and small refrigerator in the room.

Bedding was clean and comfortable. The TV worked well, though ship-based programming left a bit to be desired as far as timeliness, etc.

Windows were clean throughout the cruise. The balcony / patio was clean and a welcome retreat on busy days.

The room was very quiet. We heard no passageway noise nor any noise form adjacent rooms or overhead.

Port Reviews

Cartagena (Colombia)

Hot, rushed walking tour with a guide that left impaired travelers a block behind.

Acapulco

Wonderful overall tour of the old and new city with a visit to the cliff divers.

Puerto Quetzal (Antigua)

Nice visit to the country with history and visiting the "new" old city. A very nice lunch was included.

Cabo San Lucas

We had booked a boat tour with an outside vendor (Government Vacation Rewards). However, our time in post was very short, our tour was scheduled at 8 AM, but we had to wait until 9:30 to get off the ship behind ship based excursions. That was a disappointment. Next time, we'll just grab one of the walk-up vendors once on shore. Just remember, this is a tender port, so you have to wait for a boat to take you to the pier. They ruin frequently, but those with ship-provided excursions have priority in going ashore. The town / marina area is nice.
