My husband and I travel to Europe often but this was our first cruise. We didn't want a mega ship with thousands of people so we chose Windstar Cruises as they hold approximately 200 people. We booked the Glitter and Glam tour starting at Barcelona moving to the French and Italian Rivieras and ending in Rome.

The staff, food, and accommodations were first rate. The ship was immaculate which could be seen by the staff polishing the railings each morning. They knew our names by the second day. They were accommodating and friendly.

We chose the Star Pride because all rooms are suites with a walk-in closet, bathroom with a double vanity, a bedroom and a sitting room.
