We stayed 3 nights in Venice before our cruise; it was not our first time to Venice so we choosed to stay at Hotel Cipriani which is located on Giudecca Island.
Embarkation was very smooth, as there were no lines; we had a Club Ocean Suite, so we had priority check in.
The ship is a small to medium cruise ship, with around 700 passengers, and it was refurbished in 2H16. Our Club Ocean Suite (7004) is a large cabin with around 65 sq.m., with a separate living room and a bedroom with a king bed, besides a very spacious bathroom (bath and showers are separated) and a huge veranda.

Very nice walk tour with an excellent guide.
As the ships docks at city center, very easy to visit all the city's attractions.
Impossible to describe the beauty of this fortified city!
Beautiful old town center, as well as the water and beaches.
