Cabin: Large Outside Stateroom (partial sea views)
This was our 8th cruise and our second with HAL. We had sailed to Alaska with Royal Caribbean three years ago for 14 days. Since we live in Vancouver, we love the cruises that depart from and return to Vancouver.
All the staff on the Nieuw Amsterdam were excellent. Low key - but very attentive and very personable. Always a smile and a wave.
The ship is a bit old - but it is quite beautiful and elegant. It is also very well kept up.
