The cabin was a bit smaller than some, but well laid out and had a real shower door rather than a curtain. The refrigerator (for minibar service) was handy to have and the safe was larger than some we have run into.

Barcelona was very nice, but didn't live up to the hype. Nice to walk around.

Barcelona

Nice little city with lots of interesting places to walk. Just took the city bus from the port to the city center.

Valencia

We took the excursion to the Palm Forrest and enjoyed it. Had time to walk into the town from the port afterwards. They were having a local festival with many ladies dressed in Flamenco style dresses. Made some areas crowded, but interesting to see.

Cartagena (Spain)

Walked into town and enjoyed the street scene. Also had interesting archaeological/historical sights.

Malaga

Interesting and informative tour. The drive was fairly long, but we weren't rushed at the site. Interesting opportunity to climb into the ruins, but not for people with mobility issues or claustrophobia. Tour guide was good, but little in the way of a museum or artifacts on display.

Tour guide provided a useful history on the ride to Mdina. Enjoyed the brief opportunity to walk around with lots of time to walk around Valletta with the guide and on our own. Wish that we had more time in the amazing cathedral as the tour guide rushed us through and left us with more time than needed to look at suits of armour and weapons.

Very interesting to go both ways through the canal.

The Corinthian experience was a bit rushed as a large ship was approaching the canal and we were warned that if we took too long we wouldn't be able to do the canal tour. That is true and the canal tour was interesting, but too bad that we had to rush through ancient Corinth so quickly after the long bus ride.

Not much in Katakolon other than shops and restaurants.

Katakolon (Olympia)

A long drive with lots of traffic and congestion due to the G7 Meeting preparations. The Roman theater was the highlight, although Taormina is pretty on its own.

Pompeii really special and we enjoyed it despite the tour organization. We had been there previously and just wanted to walk around the site on our own. However, we didn't realize that we would have to line up for 40 minutes to get the admission ticket. NCL should include the entrance to the archaeological site in the price and eliminate the time wasted. The tour guide was also lackadaisical and frustrated many of the people on the tour.

We hiked up and down the donkey trail and enjoyed walking through Fira. We had been there before, so didn't need to see Oia or Akrotiri this visit.

Santorini

It is a shame as the dining organization is the best we have seen.We love the Freestyle dining approach, but the food is pretty tasteless.
