Britannia is one of P & O newest ships & I think I was expecting a bit more of the 'Wow' factor & was a bit disappointed. From the outside it looks very 'Grand' but falls short on the inside, but although very swish etc. just lacks something. The public rooms are functional but lack warmth perhaps. The decor is a bit on the stark side & I would call minimalist. The Staff are the usual, brilliant, lovely people who mainly cannot do enough for you. The entertainment was good but I thought some of the shows could have moved a bit away from the usual sounds of the Musicals. The food I have to say was perhaps one of the best we have had in the past 8 years & we have taken many cruises so full marks there. The disembarkation was very very good the Embarkation was not the best we have endured but the cases were in our room when we got on board. The ports of call were good but they always look good when the weather is fine. Certainly no major complains so overall a good ship & a good cruise.
