Friends who made a couple of Viking River Cruises highly recommended us to cruise on the Viking cruise line. We had made several (7) Ocean Cruises on Royal Caribbean with them and they wanted us to enjoy this new and intimate experience on a smaller vessel. Most of our cruises on RCI were 3500 and above passengers where this one was only 190! The cruise itinerary for us was perfect for although we have traveled extensively throughout Europe we had never been to Budapest nor Prague. Learned a lot about why communism and those behind the Iron Curtain during the Cold War were so affected by not being able to live freely. The Viking was very clean and support staff were very professional seeing to our every need. It was service with pleasure from embarkation to disembarkation. Our Crew was excellent and we had a great Tour Director (Edina) and Hospitality Director (Mariana). Superior experience and great trip down the Danube!
