Second time on Jewel of the Sea. Great Service and Entertainment. The on board costs have gone way up. Additional charges were very noticeable. The dinning experience is not what I have experienced on other Cruise Lines but it did improve due to the additional effort off our dinning staff. Lobster night has been eliminated from the menu and that was a disappointment for our group of eleven. The bar orders at the table in the beginning of the cruise slow and the ice melted but still served. That was corrected by the staff so good for them. They worked hard to overcome the earlier issues and they did.
The selection of personal items needed on the store fit on a small self and the selection of clothing was very minimal.
Way to many Watches displayed and those offered were mostly large gaudy watches. We have bought jewelry before but nothing enticed us this time.
