We had never been on a river cruise before so maybe our expectations were too high. The really good thing about it was that all the arrangements for getting on and off the boat, excursions etc went like clockwork and the local guides were in general excellent. The tours themselves were variable - some rather boring and created just to fill time. The boat was lovely and clean and modern but we found the cabin small considering we had a grand balcony. Because of the minibar and safe in the wardrobe there was little room to hang clothes and to get to the loo you had to turn sideways passed the bed. The bathroom itself was fine and the drawer storage was good. We found the entertainment to be poor. The service was pretty good although dinner took a long time -
if you didn't want all the courses you just had to wait as they would only serve one course at a time. We would not go on another such cruise.
By the time we booked all the owners suites had gone so this was the largest cabin we could get and it was small. See review comments above.
