this was my second trip with msc, leaving from venice, going to split/Croatia,then down to santarini, mykonos, back up to Dubrovnik, then anatola.
just to get to the ship in venice, was a route march in 28 degree heat, with cases,no staff in sight to help, eventually we arrived in nothing more than a cowshed, full with hundreds of people, and some idiot was stood there with a camera and ships wheel, wanting to take pictures,my advice go and do something usefull, and to make it worse my luggage hadn't arrived,we normally travel with the yacht club, and this trip cost the same,we were on deck 12-1205 cabin.
finally on board,we reported the missing luggage,as I only had th clothes I was stood in,msc told me they would update me daily,on what progress was being made, they did none of this, each day I went down, still th same blank expression,in the end we had to do all the running around ourselves, and the luggage was still in London,ba had it flown to Dubrovnik on the wed,as we sailed in on Thursday at 1pm,the case turned up at 6pm,after going every hour to reception, they did nothing, then said I had to pay 50euros to get my case back, sod off.
bigger than expected, bathroom was tired and worn out, otherwise ok
we dont book through msc,as we like to do our own thing
lovely place to visit
