Florence (Livorno)

We didn't stop in Portofino due to bad weather but went to Genoa instead & had a pleasant stroll around the city & visited the Cathedral which is certainly worth a visit.

Genoa

Strolled around looking at the very expensive shops, cars & houses.

Monaco (Monte Carlo)

Saint-Tropez

Walking tour around Aix-en-Provence which was informative but not too strenuous. We stopped off & had a nice lunch ( Not included on excursion) in a cafe close to the roundabout where we were meeting..

Drove around Marseille & finished at the Basilica at the top of the hill where we had amazing views of the city.

Drove back down where we only had half an hour of free time which isn't really enough time to do any shopping. That was the only drawback for my wife but saved me a fortune!!

Wandered around City. Although we were warned about pickpockets we didn't feel worried at anytime.

Barcelona

Ibiza South Tour. This was a little disappointing. We visited some salt flats & a beach as we drove to a lovely little village and arrived just before the church service started so managed a peek inside the old church & then had a coffee in a lovely little courtyard with flowers & palms. Very idyllic.The guide was good but a little to quick for some of the older people on the tour leaving them behind. Also being Sunday the few shops that were there were closed which some people complained about but this was not a worry for ourselves.
We then went to San Antonio which we would have been happy to just drive through but had too much free time there. If I was 30 years younger, maybe, & I was one of the younger ones on the tour! Maybe worth adjusting to just driving through rather than stopping!.

Boat Ride along Amalfi Coast excellent. The tour guide was very knowledgeable but was a little too much stopping in some areas with no shade to tell us the history of the area.

Rome (Civitavecchia)

As mentioned the service was excellent at all times with everyone always greeting you with a smile & always available for short chats with a couple of the staff remembering us from our first cruise on the Riviera last year!We travelled on the Riviera for the first time last year and loved it so much we had to sail again with them and we were not disappointed.
