Our parent's 50th anniversary was coming up and we (siblings) were actually arguing on weather we send them to Australia, have a surprise party or a cruise. We opted for the cruise and all 5 of us chipped in and booked a 7 day cruise from Vancouver to Alaska. Since I live overseas, I thought, since I' traveling all the way to Vancouver that I would go with them and have some alone time with them. What can I say? It was the absolutely best trip of our lives! We started out in our home town of Vancouver which was just so convenient. The check in system was flawless! We really didn't know what to expect so it was an adventure for all three of us.

The ship was clean, the staff were friendly and always smiling which made it so much more special. My parents could not thank everyone enough for their kindness.

The food variety was excellent and I was amazed at the selections available and different menus every day. We really didn't feel the need to make a reservation at the restaurant because we really looked forward to dining in the restaurant and being served by our friendly waiters and chit chat with our beautiful hostess.

Cabin Review

The three of us shared standard outside room. My hide-a-bed was surprisingly comfortable. My parents bed was comfortable, neither of them complained about the room. It was always clean. Every night we enjoyed our towel pets and chocolates. Our cabin steward was a wonderful young man who was always nice and always asking if we want anything. The bathroom was clean and soaps & lotions were replenished every day. We were very happy with especially the cleanliness.
