The reduced standards are most noticeable in the Belvedere Restaurant where the food does not come up to standard. The menus are too fussy, promise much and the courses when they do arrive can be poor. In particular the starters and desserts leave much to be desired but we did have meals where the vegetables had seen better days were yellow and poorly cooked. The meat courses were unimaginative with grass fed beef each day coming from a different country!! Some of the staff were very good but breakfast was a disappointment with surly faces, not a smile in sight and very slow service. I had cause to mention this to the Head Waiter.

The Arcadian Rhodes Restaurant is good but there is a significant surcharge. The feeling was that the standards in the Belvedere had something to do with encouraging people to visit there.

On the boat generally, more charges have been introduced for attending many of the sessions and the Internet usage charge is high. The procedure for embarking and disembarking at ports this time was poor with many delays and only one gangway open at all times.
