I joined Epic in Rome on 15th May. I am a solo traveller and booked one of the Studio Cabins on Deck 11 (11523 - very conveniently located mid-ship). I have sailed on Epic twice before as a solo and although this was the same itinerary there were places I still wanted to visit.

This review is written to express my findings as a solo traveller but will, I hope, give others an insight to the cruise itself.

The flights from London Heathrow went very smoothly and as a person with mobility problems I was very grateful for the special needs assistance at the departure airport, on arrival in Rome and at the port.

Cabin T1

Ideal for the solo traveller. No fridge but one can be provided if passenger needs to keep medical items in fridge. Request on Special Needs Form when booking.

Cabin steward very helpful, efficient and kept cabin spotless at all times.

Port Reviews

Naples

HIred a taxi with two other people and explored the Amalfi Coast to Sorrento - a lovely experience.
