Not knowing quite what it would be like like to do the Atlantic, to us it was something new and different. Departing from Heathrow was very quick - no problem at all in checking in. Checking into Sheraton Hotel in Miami was also quick, clean room, kingsize bed, although we were looking onto the new motorway, for one night, that was not a problem for us, we enjoyed the complimentary trip to Coconut Grove put on by the Sheraton Hotel for 2 & half hrs was something different for the one night, we saw it as a bit of sight seeing.Coach next morning was on time, again no problem boarding it. Arrived at Miami port. Getting on the Eclipse was straight forward and plain sailing.Cabin with balcony was fine, enough room for what we had, room service was good and helpful, you only had to ask for something and they would oblidge. We were lucky with the weather so we spent most time round the outside pool, music and entertainment was good, although we and other did think the Entertainment Director Que wasn't as good as he thought, when ever he came on the loud speaker all he started with was (hope you'r all having an amazing time) he didn't seem to have much input other than the same introduction after the Captain's speach at 12:00. The other passengers we met up with all thought his assistant director Drew was absolutely brilliant, he was more hands on and well motiviated, we all felt he should be headhunted as Entertainment Director. There was a good selection of food at the buffet at breakfast, although it could have been slighly hotter. The evening meals seemed the same, until we mentioned this to the M'atradi, after that, it all came up very hot.As regards to the trip, the ship offers you lots of entertainment and activities during the day on board the ship, for us, we just enjoyed the sunshine, which there was plenty of it.Kate & Brian

Cabin Review

Deluxe Veranda 2B

Leaving Heathrow whereby there is limited luggage allowance - we managed to pack all the luggage we needed. So to us the deluxe balcony we had suited us. Had we been leaving from Southampton, it's possible the cabin would not have been large enough, seeing you can take more luggage leaving from this port
