Really excellent ship with wonderful crew

Review for a South America Cruise on Azamara Quest

There were 591 on this cruise (ship accommodates about 675) with a crew of about 400. This is considered an upscale line and ship and it is. The ship and crew did a fine job. The food was excellent and much better than most of their competitors, but they could use some menu additions and modifications. We love azamara and love the quest and you will too. This ship was apparently overhauled about ...

Bus crash in Rio

Review for a South America Cruise on Azamara Quest

We wanted to see parts of South America. We enjoyed the food and service. The excursions were pricey so we did most touring on our own in ports. In Ponte Del Este, we obtained a private driver and toured the whole area including a visit to casa Pueblo, which was amazing. We took the ship’s excursion to see Christ the Redeemer and the beaches. On the way back to the ship. The bus driver lost ...

We are so impressed with the whole process with Quasar, from booking all the way to the end. They made us feel like we were the only passengers. Thank you Diane. The food was amazing and creative thanks to David our Chef. Arianna our Cruise Director was totally responsive to every tiny detail. Javier our bartender (which everyone loved) was a creative mixologist and could make anything and ...

Review for a South America Cruise on Marina

I had always wanted to go to Buenos Aires and Rio and thought a cruise between the 2 would be wonderful. The ship was beautifully appointed and loved the dining options. Unfortunately, the ports of call really were terrible. A great frustration was that we were going to stop in San Paolo but we stopped in Santos. The only transport they offered was to a shopping mall in Santos and no way to ...

We had not been to South America prior to this sailing. Cruise was lovely and relaxing. We went in three days earlier to visit Buenos Aires. Beautiful city and lots of cultural things to do. Some of the smaller ports were very interesting we liked Buzios. I would be nice if the simply more excursion money could be used for additional items like the beverage package. One of our tours was ...

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Seabourn Ovation

User Avatar

Seabourn Ovation was a very good experience as we like a peaceful cruise, excellent service and do not require many activities. The food and service in the main restaurant has greatly improved since our last cruise and is outstanding. We particularly enjoyed the speciality nights at The Colonade. The new restaurant Solis had just opened. It has a great ambience and spacious seating area but the ...

A ONCE IN A LIFETIME ADVENTURE...A DREAM COME TRUE!

Review for a Galapagos Cruise on Quasar Grace Yacht

I was extremely fortunate that my husband gifted me a Galapagos trip on the Grace for my 70th birthday. This trip far exceeded my highest expectations, it was simply exquisite! The scenic beauty, adventurous excursions on land and at sea, and the convivial company of 14 other guests (who became family day two), made for a ONCE IN A LIFETIME experience that I will always treasure. The Grace is ...

I am leaving this review to help people who have maybe looked at Windstar, but are unsure or unable to find much information outside of their website. I had been looking for months for a special trip for us, and I did as much research as i could before choosing Windstar. My boyfriend and I chose this cruise for a special anniversary trip. And my goodness, it was the best trip we have ever taken! ...

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on SeaDream II

This was our third trip with Seadream. Before I get to more comments, I think that it is important to realize that SD is very different than a traditional cruise and quite different from most other luxury lines. It lacks many of the amenities of larger ships many of which we also enjoy. But, it also offers a level of relaxed intimacy and service that few can match. The recent remodel has ...

Wonderful Glacier Experience

Review for a South America Cruise on Viking Polaris

Chose this cruise for the experience of up close viewing of the glaciers. Riding on the zodiacs and the Special Operations Boat was great fun. The science staff was informative on the area and explained what is happening to the world glaciers. The staff was great and helpful in making this expedition cruise enjoyable. All the glaciers were different. The foul weather boots and pants were great ...
