I made this cruise with MSC and never had such a bad experience. I reported my complaints at MSC and the even refused a compensation!!!!!!
The transfer was a mess, the embarkation was very bad.
I booked an Aurea Suite(!) no window to open nor a balcony. I asked for a swap but was told off by the receptionist.
In the bars (from an Italian ship) there was no Martini available nor Aperol. ...

Cruised onboard fantasia departing from Abu Dhabi on the 19/03/2017 My honest advise would be don't go it really is as bad as all the other reviews. We decided to try MSC as we liked the itinerary and the price was very competitive compared to the other cruise lines. I chose this cruise after a short 'taster' cruise last year on Splendida. We were so impressed with the service after years with RCI that we decided to give MSC another try. We were not dissapointed. Boarding in Abhu Dhabi was Quick and effortless. The ship was immaculate, easily on a par to RCI. Staff were without exception friendly and helpful.

This was our first cruise with MSC after 6 with Thomson’s. We cruised from Abu Dhabi on the 19/03/2017 for 7 nights. On arrival at ship we were informed that itinerary had been changed. This has to be the worse cruise I have ever been on. Did a Mediterranean cruise Feb, 2017 and will never sail MSC again. I was on a conference on board with about 90 people, and the majority felt very similar to how I felt. Our room a balcony was fine, comfortable and clean. Very small, too small for 2 people.

This is our fourth cruise with MSC having been initially reluctant to try an Italian cruise line.The ship is beautiful and maintained to a very high standard. We had a standard balcony cabin on deck 13 and it was one of the better cabins in terms of design compared to P&O, Carnival etc. The bathroom had no shaving mirror but hey!
