Loved our cruise to the San Juan Islands with American Cruise lines. The staff was friendly, very young and tried to please. Our onboard naturalist was a big plus. The PreCruise package for Seattle included a bus tour of Seattle and a night’s lodging in a nice hotel as well as breakfast and transportation to the dock. We wanted a river boat cruise experience as we are familiar with the big boat cruises. It was delightful. Fewer people & we were able to meet more of them. The shore excursion were good as was the food. The toilet situation needs some overhaul which I understand is coming at the end of the season.
