We loved the cruise on Florida rivers after many cruises in the gulf and oceans we enjoyed the calm river cruise The ship was a bit dated but the crew and personnel were very attentive. Food was excellent with many choices and sometimes high level entrees like lobster and prime rib. A smaller ship with only 90 passengers allowed us to meet many of the passengers. The tours were well done ...
This is not our first River Cruise with American Cruise Line. Our trip was not only fabulous but informative from the moment we stepped onboard. This particular itinerary was a Fall Foliage/Art Immersion Cruise. The Hudson River Valley is well known for the artists who came there to capture the beauty of the Catskills. American Constitution is well appointed from top to bottom. Staterooms are ...
We have been on multiple cruises with multiple different lines but never on a ship with only 70 passengers. What a treat! This is the oldest of their fleet but most of it had been updated. It is not extravagant but clean and very comfortable. Part of the charm is the way the ship is more like those of the good ole days. No buffets….Sit down meals in a designated dining area (with room service ...
I loved this cruise! I've taken several cruises on American Cruise Lines and I always enjoy them so much! I am so impressed by the crew on these boats. Everyone is so cheerful and happy to do anything you ask. The staff in the dining room is amazing, as is the food. If I ask for anything special or different there is nothing they won't do for you. I wanted sugar free desserts, which weren't on ...
This was my first cruise EVER that I took with my mother as her gift to me. What an amazing memory and the best part is my 'cruise souvenirs' were a group of women that I hope to see, again, soon!
I was excited to see the beauty of Maine from the water after visiting some of the ports last year by land. The water gives you an entirely different perspective!
Portland, Maine is the 'city' we ...
My return to the American Independence (I sailed in May 2021 on the Chesapeake) for a PORTS OF MAINE CRUISE was just what I needed to force me to relax from my busy life and let "someone else do the driving!"
Cruising on American Cruise Line is so effortless.
Once you arrive with your luggage it is all "gladly giving up the controls" and letting this amazing and attentive staff do the ...
We selected the San Juan Islands Tulip Festival Cruise to visit Skagit Valley for the annual tulip festival held every April. It rivals visiting the fields of Holland without the overseas travel. We spent time in Tulip Towne and were given a private escorted tour of the farm operations. It was very informative and educational. Anyone with an interest in gardening would love it.
The cruise ...
American Cruise Lines makes every cruise a 5-star experience!
The ship was spotless and so beautifully decorated from the various common areas to our private areas.
The staff and crew were wonderful. Made us feel like we were the most special guests on the vessel!
We had some rough waters on occasion but the captain and cruise directors handled the experience with wisdom.
The dining ...
This cruise, besides highlighting the Revolutionary War, was a Cherry Blossom theme. Since the blossoms were early this year, the itinerary was adjusted to include Washington DC first to be sure to catch their beauty near their peak. There were talks about the history of the cherry blossoms onboard plus excursions, including walking tours, which highlighted the cherry blossoms. All the art ...
March/April 2023 - My wife and I have been on numerous cruises (26+) throughout the world on various cruise lines over the years. This was our forth cruise on American Cruise Lines. Our American Revolution cruise started on March 26 in Baltimore, MD. This was the first cruise of the season.
We came down to Baltimore from Newark, NJ where we were visiting, on an Amtrak train. We stayed at ...
