When I booked my cruise to sail on the Celebrity Apex, I was so impressed by the photos and videos of the Infinity Cabins, and the ship in general, that I thought that even if the ship went no where, I would still love the cruise. I would think back on that thought during the cruise and after the cruise ended and I returned home. This cruise was booked as a “10 night Israel, Egypt & Med Cruise”. ...
A trip luxury trip back in time, flying business class and visiting the sights of the ancient world, Athens, Jerusalem and the Pyramids.
We booked a Infinite Veranda and a classic drinks package (we are light drinkers) and looked forward to a sunny cruise it is not our first Celebrity cruise, we always have a balcony cabin.
Lets get this straight a infinite veranda cabin is just a outside ...
This started out as a trip to Israel, Egypt, and Turkey. It was changed due to world events and only one of the original ports remaining from the initial itinerary was visited. The ship was lovely, food was good, and service was great. What I would like to do in this review is to share with you a missed opportunity on Celebrity's part to take care of their best customers: Elite members and above. ...
First off, we had a fantastic cruise that at times was covid silly, but at the end of the cruise 100% of passengers and cruise guests tested negative. Masks worn at all times when moving about, but not eating or drinking.
Getting to Athens and through civic test at the pier had its challenges, but relax you are on vacation, just follow the rules and paperwork. We civic tested before we left ...
Wow this is quite a ship. From the moment you walk up the gangway you're on something different. It's a high tech wonder with automatic lights and window shade in your cabin. Hands free washroom doors. Elevators that glow green when going up and red when down. Bar codes on each table you have to scan to see the menu of the bar or restaurant. The hotel block is built on the ships hull ...
We originally were due to travel to Bali our trip of a lifetime and as the borders remained closed due to Covid we decided last minute to book a Cruise . From the moment we arrived at the port until we disembarked we were in what can only be described as a surreal world. As first time cruisers we didn't know what to expect but we spent the week with smiles on our faces.
We were booked into an ...
We swapped to this cruise as our cruise on Apex ath the beginning of November from Fort Lauderdale was looking unlikey due to the entry restrictions to the USA.
We arrived slightly early and were able to straight for our Covid test which was complementary. 20 mins later the results were in, just make sure you have pre registered all your details with the tester's app.
Another 20 mins and ...
After a couple of covid bumps and bruises booked the Apex because it seemed like Greece was a go. Never been to Greece and never on an E class ship so win/win. A few extra hoops to travel during covid, but my oh my well worth it. Brand new ship roughly 950 passengers on a ship that can hold 3k and sites in Greece that were not overflowing with massive crowds. I was totally blown away by Apex. ...
There is nothing that can compare to spending time with friends. Everything else is icing on the cake. We spent three days in Athens and seven nights on the Apex with longtime friends.
On this adventure, however, the icing on the cake was delicious.
For us at least, The ship and service were unmatched compared to all previous cruises. Traveling with only 900 guests on a ship that normally ...
we have sailed with celebrity before and have never been disappointed. we chose to sail on the apex because it was a brand new ship and had fabulous reviews. it was a fantastic time! the ship was the most beautiful ship we have ever been on! the ship was about 1/3 full and we felt like we had the whole ship to ourselves. the food, drinks, service, etc, was impeccable. they have four main dining ...
